How I Coach
I’m not a typical life coach, and I’m not a typical Christian coach either. Many coaches avoid giving advice, and that’s a solid rule of thumb. It’s one I try to follow as much as possible. I believe people often find their own answers as they talk things through. They have that lightbulb moment, notice something true about themselves for the first time, and from there they shape their own plan forward. I love that part of the process, and I encourage it from the start.
But Christian coaching is different. We’re dealing with God’s will, and I lean heavily toward full surrender. Depending on why someone comes to me, we may need to seek God’s direction in ways that don’t always match what they expected—or what they hoped to hear. There has to be a shared understanding that surrendering to God is where we begin. Without that, I can’t help anyone move closer to Him or discover the purpose and meaning that anchor every other spiritual desire.
When I see a problem that can be faced through the Holy Spirit, I’ll name it. When I see a goal that can be reached by applying God’s Word, I’ll point to it. My aim is simple: God’s will and God’s plan for your life. Nothing in the Gospels harms God’s creation when it’s handled with discernment. In its proper context, Scripture is both a steady guide for daily life and a deep well of wisdom.
When I speak with you, I lean into the Holy Spirit. He often reveals what you may not see—weaknesses, barriers, strengths that have been hiding in plain sight. If you feel stuck, unsure of where to go next, God has given me the gifts of discernment and encouragement to help you take the next step.
I don’t charge for my coaching. These gifts weren’t given to me to serve only those who can afford support. They were given to serve God’s people. My reward is in serving His Kingdom.
I do accept donations :)
